WRIR is 100% volunteer-powered, making us the largest LPFM station in the country in terms of audience and content creation! Our volunteers are the heart of the station—some pitch in a few times a year, while others spend 20+ hours a week here.
We’re a diverse group from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for broadcasting underrepresented music, news, and views. You’ll be working alongside over 100 volunteers from all corners of Richmond, brought together by one thing: a belief in truly independent community radio.
